Temple of Kulture presents the powerful world of NINE, a bold and unforgettable immersive theatre installation co-created and performed by Black and Global Majority mothers and their children. Blending sound, projection, movement and storytelling, NINE invites audiences to journey through raw, tender and transformative stories of motherhood. Stories that are too often unheard, misrepresented or overlooked.There are different rooms to explore, each offering a unique sensory experience from the overwhelming joy of motherhood to themes of love, rebirth and loss.
You’ll be guided through a dynamic, sensory space shaped by the voices and imaginations of the families themselves. These are stories of joy and exhaustion, resistance and care, cultural legacy and everyday magic. All intricately woven from lived experience. Co-created with communities, artists,and little ones, NINE invites us to rethink how we see mothers, how we listen to children, and how we make space for truth.
