The theme for the 2020 festival is Beauty From Brokenness.

With this in mind I will be exhibiting a new stained glass work entitled Natal = Exertion which considers the physical endurance and breaking undertaken in the final push of creation. Again using the visual imagery of childbirth, but referring to all creativity - the anguish and sacrifice experienced in bringing something into being.

The UNVEILING Arts Festival exists to engage people in a deeper understanding of the Gospel and the heart of God by sharing insights through the creative arts, relating to specific themes. A select group of artists are assigned the same brief, which they will consider prayerfully before creating original art in response. The aim is to have a varied, God-breathed assortment of inspired and excellent artistic interpretations that will resonate powerfully in people’s hearts and minds.
